Mining Solutions Group was founded on a simple conviction: that African mining operations deserve engineering partners who understand the environment, speak the language, and deliver without excuses.
Our story
From workshop floor to turnkey delivery
MSG was established by engineers and tradespeople who had spent years working inside mines, workshops and project sites across southern and central Africa. They understood the gap between what mining operators needed and what the market was offering — slow lead times, imported solutions that didn't fit local conditions, and contractors who disappeared after handover.
The founding team built MSG to close that gap. Starting with hydraulic component repair and rebuild, MSG developed hands-on capability in hydraulic power units, drifter overhaul, test bench fabrication and mine dewatering systems. Every project added a layer of technical depth. Every client relationship sharpened the delivery model.
Today MSG operates as a structured engineering and project development business — capable of taking a mine requirement from concept through to commissioned, operational infrastructure.

Technical honesty
We scope what we can deliver. We don't overcommit to win work, and we don't underscope to keep costs low on paper. If a requirement is outside our capability, we say so.
Structured execution
Every MSG project follows a defined delivery process — from discovery and validation through to commissioning. Structure is not bureaucracy; it is how we protect the client's capital and our own reputation.
African-first engineering
Our solutions are designed for African mining conditions — dust, heat, remote logistics, variable power supply and constrained maintenance windows. We don't adapt European specs. We engineer from the operating environment outward.
Accountability after handover
Commissioning is not the end of our involvement. MSG supports clients through operational bedding-in, operator training and ongoing technical assistance. We measure success by uptime, not by delivery date.
